A Novel Structured Magnetic Field Sensor Based on Photonic Crystal Fiber Filled with Magnetic Fluid

چکیده

A novel structured magnetic field sensor based on dual-core photonic crystal fiber is proposed which has two elliptical central holes filled with fluid and some cladding air holes. The transmission characteristics of the such as coupling length, birefringence, loss are analyzed changing structural parameters. Enhanced birefringence obtained by structure sensitivity calculated, numerical simulation result shows that highest 1200 pm/Oe can be achieved.
